Mentor Training

You need to take classes on psychology that would help understand who your mentoring!

 

I do not know if it is a good idea to mentor like this, and to be actually responsible for trying to figure out what someone is doing so as they don't have an accident; then they can yell back "oh it's my mentors fault, he/she told me to do that'. Yeah it is nice to have a student that you have graduated from your training to the next level call you later on with a question, but I am sure on this mentoring it maybe on the spur of the moment when they are in trouble, what then? What if they are in a wind storm or ice area, what do you tell them??, so much of this is just chance if you aren't careful.

And don't forget if you are driving you have to be talking on the phone, or if you are sleeping you will get woken up.

It is a great idea if only.....

 

The train the trainer class was more or less refresher, when i did it in 05. The real trick is how you help the person learn.... and some will be good at it and some will scare the Bejeebers out of you. And nearly all will be nervous. And some will freakout after a few days, mostly from not being in the comfort zone that home provides. Also, study up on Term Life insurance beforehand, instead of when you are going through a "WTF" period.
