Is anybody having issues with the rear engine mounts on the MBE 4000? I have a couple stripped bolts on the drivers side rear mount. Any thoughts on why this happened? I replaced my front engine mount 50 thousand miles ago because it was worn out. Would a helicoil work to repair the threads in the bellhousing where this mounts?
Truck has a pretty decent shake to it, Im hoping this mount is the cause and not a symptom of it.

If you call freightliner they will be able to tell you what you all need, that was a problem area, I know they fixed them in the truck, 90% sure it was with a helicoil. If they are a nice group they may lend you the kit.

Here comes an answer 2yrs behind and yes 2yrs old. I had this where the engines almost fall on the ground, I manage to drive to freightliner in Dubueq, IA. Well what they told me did nt make me happy, becouse it was almost the price to put onother engine, but then some how they still wanted to help, so They fill up with lugtide or jpwl or some thing I dont know what it was and advice to fix right no more than couple weeks, dont haul heavy loads and so on, kind like when you go to see a Doctor. Well I paid themabout $500 i think, and went on till to day this truckhauls any thing to every where almost..
