CA isn't that bad, that being said it's because of all the good freight that comes out here that there are so many trucks here. Many drivers don't come out here and do VERY well with the 37. Most of the top earners avoid the west coast at all cost. Many of the drivers that are out here (like the guy a ran with) do not know how to work the board yet and out here that can really hurt you. I would get the north America pack but learn your area well first. Save up a little then try new areas. If you try to do it all at once it might be rough. But many will tell you they don't need the west coast to make money here and the are tight. The biggest money making area I see right now is not out here. I just am too spoiled to take a load for $1.60 to get to it.

I committed to a handful of loads BEFORE I got here an I was position 70 last week. Well I'm 30 as of today an today marks my second day being here. So not too bad an I'm doing a 34 hour reset so I really can't complain about it.
There are loads out here that were offered to me but I refuse to go sit up at Pendleton for 8 hours waiting on them to load my truck an NO dentention.
Last time I was there i counted at least 100 trucks on site
