I've posted before on wanting to be on a no call list and when asking them to put me on it was told it doesn't exist. It seems a lot I tell my coordinator goes in 1 ear and out the other. I'd be tickled pink to be on a do not call list all together.
I very rarely get called at all. My coordinator doesn't even call much. Maybe because I always have a load on. Idk... But I did get a call the other day from a guy "helping" my coordinator. He offered me a load that was actually a very good load but we both quickly realized I couldn't get to it in time. He called back about 2 hours later with another really good load, I took it.
Just the days I'm not interested in working. And the days my coordinator isn't working. Otherwise, if she isn't working, I'll get a call from the temp for every darn load matching up to my truck. And that is very annoying. The record for me is 27 calls in one day from a temp. Even though I told the fella that I would look at the board and pick my own load when I got stopped, he still called.
My oil cover been off. I'm thinking it's bad gas it's running just a little rough. Gonna run it on high n burn this gas out n get gas at the loves lol
I've actually got called a couple times from the "helper" as well. I guess everyone is different, I just don't like being contacted.
I don't mind being called at all. If I was getting called on a bunch of crappy loads if have my coordinator change my parameters. They've found a few good loads for me that they saw before I did. But I have no problem listening to them tell me about the load & then telling them no thanks. You know how we truck drivers get upset when we go to deliver & there customer is a jerk for no reason, all were trying to do is it job of getting that load delivered. People calling are just doing there job. You could go on the board that doesn't have a coordinator.
