Guys, give me feedback on mercer in 2011. I'm due in for an orientation within a month and I'am undecided. Help. Thanx.

 

Anyone out there doing trip leases nowadays!

 

Very few.

I can't remember the last time I trip leased a load. Back in the 90's...

 

what's a trip lease?

 

A one trip lease with another company. Basically its where you just haul on load for another company without actually leasing on with them. Back in the day they was nice. I got tired of chasing all my money around.

are all of u mercer boys and girls hauling flat's?

 

Most of us.. Mercer is primarily a flatbed company.. I think there is a couple of posters here that do pull vans.

 

started orientation wed , 5 van drivers and i am only flatbed driver. everbody seems to be nice folks, never had lunch with a coordinator before until today

 

I bet it is nice to have friendly people - specially the ones that will be responsible for your paycheck - in return you'll be a lot more flexible to their needs - for hey i have this hot load do you think you can take it?
