I believe the rates could be better. But then I have to remember that we are in a slumped economy... When we pull out of this economy I am hoping that the avg cpm will increase. But I am including all my empty miles... Not sure if others factor those or not.
I go home when I want to go home. I wasn't home for the whole month of August. But I was home 4 days over labor day, the weekend following, then 2 days last week. It all depends on the freight market at the time.bamanation Thanks this. -
he is right and also it depends on where you live I think REDD is in a better location than I am.....as NO TARPS has found out.....not freight capitol of the world is what our coordinator said....my truck was out 7 weeks......

Well I talk to Mercer and have the info on its way. I live in N. Alabama and flatbed freight seems to be doing good around here to. I did tell Shelby I cant make any moves until the first of the year probably around the end of Febuary. I would'nt want to do anything this close to the winter season.
-
that would be a better time....freight starts picking up around then last Jan it was dead.....Shelby is a sweet person...best of luck.....we have another guy he pulls a van and he goes by Bama.....when I first saw you thought it was him till I saw the age...lol....Bama has a couple a years up on ya....bamanation Thanks this.

What part on North Alabama?

Birmingham to Decatur. A lot of steel. Now that I think about it as soon as they catch up from that cash for clunkers deal it will probably slow back down. I hope it doesnt.
