I am at 1.67 since the 1st of the year.. I was at 1.75 but I took a load to western iowa and lost my reload out of there and DH back to the Ill border because I hate to sit
-
last year i think the fleet avg was 1.69 to 1.71 a mile. i will have been at mercer a year the end of next week , should hit right at 200,000 to the truck in that time if next week works ok if not will be about 199,000. that will put me at about 110,000 miles loaded and deadhead.
but i am also out 3 weeks at a time on average, but in the lorain, ohio area you can stay busy the ccc office does well -
and leasing a trailer isnt a bad deal here. my flat runs me 525 a month with insurance included got 16 payments left on this bad boy and its mine ( i got a used one when i leased on instead of new, my choice)

My coordinator is pretty good. She will go to bat for me and handles any problems that come up even without me asking her ... But I still pick most of my loads.. Oh and flightline I am sitting next to a mercer truck right now with a rear door and he does not have a headache rack on the truck but he does have one on the trailer
