I done read all the threads on Mercer. Still thinking about leasing on when i get back.

Gosh it's hard to scare people aware.
Maybe if we told them how hard we work here. Work usually scares most people
But then they would probably see the truth sooner or later.

Lets get another 100 drivers signed on. It won't effect the rest of us. Always plenty of freight around here.
Though some of these new drivers might get some of this freight moved so I don't have to. Will that effect my paycheck??

 

I dont want to take all the freight... Just a little! I will make it easy , i will only run down south.

 

That's apparently what everyone is trying to do right now.

 

I want be up and running til mid may or beginning of june. Maybe the cycle will be over, by then.

 

The broker freight we get from Mercer off the load boards usually do us quite well, and from what I've been told and have been reading it's the leftovers of what lease operators don't want to haul, seems to me they may be a good company to lease on with. Always seem to get out of the Buffalo, NY area, where we can't anymore

 

RedPete95: That is correct, the broker freight is the left over from lease operators. Though Buffalo,Ny area agent is quite a peice. Last time I was there, he pulled the TQL crap, put a load up, then get to the shipper and it's a different load and didn't want to adjust the rate, actually cut the rate. Told him, I wouldn't be back and I haven't. That has been almost a year.
