I haven't had time to get online for the last week. Left Charlotte headed to SF Bay area via stops in Atlanta, Houston, San Angelo, and Vegas. Shipper screwed up the orders and when I delivered in San Angelo they said it wasn't what they ordered. Got sent back to Atlanta to swap units and now will redeliver in San Angelo tomorrow. Looks like I may get my next one off in LV on Sat if I can manage the hours, then take 34 there and get last one off in CA. What a week it's been.

Katz, you get unloaded and moving yet?

One other thing, I haven't run across a single Mercer truck in the last 4,000 miles ??? :biggrin_25511:

To be honest, I have no idea. I was asked the same thing when I called in on Sunday when I got empty. Didn't hear anything about this in orientation.

I got desparate and took a load of lumber going out of Gurdon, AR. I needed to get out of there so I could send TripPak in somewhere. With deadhead, it ends up at less than $1 a mile... I was going to take a Hazmat load going to Corpus Christi, but my coordinator talked me out of it saying there's many drivers sitting in TX.

There ought to be a truck stop in Leesville or DeRidder w/Trip Pak. TransFlo is always harder to find.

Negative, at least according to their web directory.

I dropped it off at J in Texarkana a couple hours ago.

You should really setup the transflow from the truck it is easy and as soon as you del you can scan in the paper work before you even leave the cust.
I used a hp 3600 has a scanner that you can load with all the paperwork at once.

More like wife's clothes, shoes, and her gambling allowance! LOL.

It's all good. I'll be back on my feet (sort of) after a couple more loads. And I learned I need to look on the load board to see what's available myself, at least until I establish good working relationship with my coordinator.

I am enjoying your travels w/ Mercer. I tried to get man I drive for to go w/ them but no luck. Maybe some day I will jump in on my own. Have talked to their folks at last 2 GATS shows and was very impressed. Hope you do great there.:biggrin_25525:
