Thats very good news to hear. how was orientation? was it the usual dull sit down and go over paperwork type deal? or did they keep it pretty interesting?

 

anyone going to MATS? I am in KC trying to get there headed to Pascagola.....

 

I'll drive through Louisville later tomorrow, but won't be able to stay for MATS.

 

my Pascagolah was cancelled now waiting to se if I go to PA for Thur so me going is not looking good..hey check and se if your cab card is ready for you to pick up tomorrow...

 

That calls for another newbie question. What's a cab card?

Most likely it'll be quick touch and go, later in the evening so I'm sure everyone but the guards is gone. Pick up is at 14:00 tomorrow in Toledo, and gotta be in Nashville by 9:00.

Do they have log books at the guards' office? I need some.

 

yes go upstairs in the drivers lounge and get some log books..the cab card will be in your permit bok itgoes with your base plate and tells officials the states you are liscensed in.....we need our new ones by April 1

 

Oh OK. I've been referring it as "registration". I'm sure permit is closed by the time I get there, though.

Lot of scales will say show us your cab card+what ever else they want like drivers license, OD permits, etc.

is it by the end of July? I know mine was late mailed it in Aug cause I couldn't get home to get the form......
