I didn't haul no dry wall. I hauled empty industrial plastic bags to a waste facility in Jersey. 20,000 pounds at $2.32 a mile. Now I have 30,000 pounds of plate that pays $1.74. So, eventually it will average back out. I just hope they find freight in Lubbock before I get there Monday evening.

I learned my lesson about Colorado and won't go back there at all. It cost me to much to get out of there!

Was that when I met you down in Pueblo? This is my second time here since then. Last time I got Styromoam Insulation for $1.54 a mile... This time I'm doing the same thing for much less money. -
You would think I would know better then come back down here. Last time I deadheaded all the way back up to Charleston, SC. They got a new agent in Tampa since I was down here last but hasn't seemed to help with the freight here.

That was my last trip into Colorado and the only reason I took it was because it payed better then $2.00 a mile and I knew I could pick up there and go to Van Buren and get something decent out of Fort Smith.

I was in FL just a few weeks ago and got a load from Melbourne to Akron OH for around 2300, but it was "expedited". Unless it pays really well, I think all of us are hesitant to take anything to FL, especially the lower half.

Dr. Katz is on vacation.... But I request that he calls me when he gets back to work.

There has to be 30 MT flatts at the Commerce City TA outside Denver and nothing on the Mercer board. I took this load here because it payed 2.23 cpm and I hoped I could at least keep heading west. Looks like sitting or deadhead.
-
I unloaded there this morning.... I was preplanned on cheap stuff out of Aurora just to get out of there -
just curious,
anyone else having trouble with the load board site?
Thanks
