Well over 100 trucks in Southern California waiting for freight. The only thing that San Diego & Ontario was able to drum up was Double Drop or Team loads.

 

ok we are leaving Monday morning instead.....lol....

 

Does anyone remember the video posted a few months back with the guy frustrated here, and he was complaining about being black-balled? I was watching IRT, Deadliest Roads, and would swear the Alabama guy is him.

Might not be the smartest thing to do in a public video, not to mention being "distracted" making the video while driving in the first place.

I've never heard anyone else have problems like this guy. Now I'll have to find time to watch IRT and see if it might be the same person. I'm sure he'll be entertaining, explaining how every problem he has is someone else's fault.

I'll be danged it is the Guy from IRT deadliest roads! I wonder if the people producing the show know that the Guy they got doesn't exactly represent a good image for the industry? Considering his YouTube video's I'd say he isn't!

 

Hey all... New to this site. I've seriously been considering buying a truck and leasing on with Mercer to pull step. Anyone have any advice? Im looking at a truck payment of roughly $1000. Also planning to wait until about March to lease on since the winter will see the normal slowdowns. I owned a truck 10 years ago but sold it when my wife's dad passed away to be home with her more fr a while. I've been running team with my dad for 6 years now and I'm ready to get back to doing it for myself. I live close to Williamsburg KY off of I-75. Is it possible to be home most weekends and still make a truck payment, trailer lease fees, and pay myself #$950 clear a week? Any and all comments would be more than welcomed. Thanks. well me and the person setting over there<---------------- shook his head no. I was thinking the same thing. You want to clear $47,500 after taxes figuring a 50 week year. Gonna be hard. And be home every week. but I live in the land of no freight.
