Mercer does have a van division... But that isn't what you saw. You saw a Mercer truck who is currently dedicated to UPS pulling a Swift trailer that is currently leased to UPS.

LOL I saw a UPS truck pulling a swift trailer the other day. All I thought was WTF. I figure it is just them renting trailers for use during the holiday season since they get so busy this time of year.

Noticed that alot of that van freight is paying as much and sometimes more then flatbed, sure makes me think about trading my flatbed and not have to worry about freezing while trying to tarp.

Don't waste your time. I found out very quickly that unless your in the office with your head up somebody's backside you ain't getting nothing good with a van either.

I'll tell you a better one, I got stuck in San Diego terminal from 10am to 8pm on Tuesday. They were loading the RGN's and a few stepdecks, which were behind me. To make a long story short, the stepdecks had vehicle and containers on them but got stuck overnight at the dust bowl cause they werent unloading the containers after dark. Well I pull in a lil after midnight , drove up to the ramp and got unloaded while the stepdecks were parked and snoozing till morning, BITTERSWEET. Thats the military for ya.

Has anyone else had problems lately with PrePass and getting red-lighted almost all the time? Seriously, in the past two months I've had one green light and that was at the Banning scale ... (although I have gotten some green lights at closed scales).

My buddy (at Mercer) has been having the same results for exactly the same time frame, so I'm curious if this is company wide.
