yeah, according to rich. don't lecture me about my willingness. you weren't there. i was willing to drive 3000 miles a week, i got 2000. i did every run they asked me to, and all i got was a subsistence pay. i did all the right things, delivered on time or early, never a log violation. i wasn't complaining, i was fighting for my future. fighting to keep my home from being foreclosed on. you don't know the whole truth, only the bits and pieces you heard in the office, maybe you should keep quiet, without ALL the facts.

or to put it into an equation for you, good work+good pay=good happy worker, good work+bad pay=unhappy malcontent. as i said to rich, negative pay creates a negative attitude, or you get what you pay for.

I don't have a dog in this fight, but was looking at this company.
I couldnt agree more with this post.^^^
If carriers would stop but-raping the driver,it would be interesting to see how low these bad company posts went down. But,good luck on that happening.
Carry on

I don't have a horse in this race either, but if he knows the office side of things, and what you posted on here they only part he'd be missing is the truth. Sometimes it's best to stick with what Abe Lincoln said "Better to remain silent and be thought a fool than to speak out and remove all doubt"

I'm just amazed that this hasn't been shut down yet. As far as i'm concerned you're both wrong. If you want to have your "showdown" do it in private.
well that's what I'd say if I were a moderator, but I'm a spectator so keep it up. -

They must be hurting for drivers, because they are on craigslist daily saying how great they are. Just remember that a good company very reerly has to advertise for help

Metropolitan was the best company I ever worked for back around the early 90's. They would run me over 3000 a week-never touch freight, and were the only company who would get you a load where you wanted to run. When I would get into their Fariview NJ terminal, they would say "where do you want to go?" I would say Florida, and they said to give them a few minutes, then come back on Friday afternoon with a Miami delivery for Monday-typical. I ran from N.J. to Chicago and into Texas almost every week-no northeast or New York City. They had 65 mile per hour Frieghliner codos with 475 hours Detroits. Absolutely good people and the best equipment. Unfortuantely, the owners made enough money and sold the company, and the rest his history-downhill all the way. The WERE one of the best. Sorry to see them go by the wayside.
