When I was with Landstar, I had to drop and hook at a yard in Otay Mesa. When you drop the trailer you have to take out all of the lights you can reach and leave them at the guard shack. Then do your D & H and bring the new trailer to the gate, go through the box of lights getting what you needed and put them on your trailer. . Only picked up there once. Never wanted to deal with it again.

There is not much we come in contact with on a daily basis that isn't either manufactured or assembled in Mexico. Freightshaker is, Chevy, Ram,Ford and GMC trucks are as well. Werner (ladders tools), Milwaukee electric tools, if you use Colgate or crest, yep Proctor and Gamble Mexico....Hell, even NASA jump suits are made there, so if an astronaut can trust that....yea I'd buy a trailer from there if it served my purpose. -
Hyundai trailers are manufactured in Rosarito. Then they store them just across the boarder. It's a big yard with a couple of hundred trailers waiting to be picked up.
noworrez Thanks this. -
