I bought my truck brand new in 06 with Michelin tires on. I have replaced the steering tires after 211 000 miles. The second set of tires(Michelin also) on steering got a shorter life due to my negligence. But even like that I've got 182 000 from them.
The driving axle tires were replaced after 421 000 miles with other Michelin tire.
On my trailer I've got 180 000 miles out of those Michelin first set of tires.
I think Michelin tires did a good job for me and hope will keep up the good work.

Having all components in good working order is the key. when I fist got into trucking, my local tire man said michelin was the best, but also the most expensive. my tire man had no equipment to do alignments, but he had the best prices by far, so I had my steer tires mounted & then on to another location for a 3 axle alignment & front end check. I got 35000 miles out ot them. brought to a 3rd tire alignment shop. they said something about the toe being way off. at that time I bought bf st244 got about 80,000 out of them. took truck in again & shop said I needed kingpins. got everything done that needed to be done. got bridgstone. they lasted 92,000. so my experience got me a lil scared. I figure if something is not right in any way with the front end, I would rather ruin cheap tires than to see a thousand bucks out the window. my problem is finding a shop with properly trained employees that don't work on my truck like it is 4:30 on a friday

I run Michelins all around on truck,
430,000 miles on truck and i am on my 2nd set of steers, they will need to be replaced soon. They are XZA3
Drives were replaced at about 325,000 miles. They still had life in them and were legal but with winter roads decided to change them anyways. They are XDA Energy
I am running centramatics all around and believe this does make a big difference.
Also have pressure gauges on drives to quick glance for low pressure.
Look after your tires and they will take care of you. -
The rolling resistance for that tire is 120.

I've always run the XZE as a trailer tire and got great wear out of them compared to B F Goodrich, Goodyear, or Bridgestones.
You cant get hurt at the price -

I putcentramatics on my last set of steers. so far 40,000 miles & wearing perfectly even. now I have to wait til my kelly kda's wear down so I can replace those bouncing tire with a better quality tire.
