It is a good idea to track your loads and miles. It is great to know where you are at any given time. It sounds like you have at least one poster who is willing to share his spreadsheet with you. If it isn't exactly what you are looking for perhaps you can alter it or someone else might have what you want.

Thanks mark, that will work for some of the stuff. If I can find a more generic one with different stuff other than just geared towards fuel, I can use that in conjunction with. Something more generic for a newbie company driver with a bfi company.

Give me about a week to make a copy and clean them up (remove existing data).

While not specifically for the original poster, maybe someone else will find this of interest. I use a book called "Discover Office 97" which while for a very old version of Microsoft Excel is still a pretty good reference book. It covers all the programs in Office such as Excel, Word etc. The Isbn is 0-7645-3079-8.
    .
In the Excel section, it explains how to create, change and just about everything else about a spreadsheet. Good teaching tool and a good index for looking things up also.

Any Book Store will have a reference book for the version of Excel that you posses.

You should also be able to click on help and find what you want. I think you may be getting held up on the forumula's. That is what slows a lot of others down.

I use excel to keep track of my mileage, pay, extra pay, taxes, load numbers, shippers/receivers and so on. It may take a few days, but I can send you the blank layout I made.
