    Make sure you have the html preview window turned off in your email program. That's another huge window they crawl through. Unfortunately, I use web based email through yahoo, so not much I can do about it.

    I've been using gmail for years, no problems yet. I'm no expert but I'm not the average user either. I have caught a couple viruses in the past, after letting my porn surfing friend use my machine. I noticed them before the antivirus did and had to get rid of them manually.

    Use the sites with comments and ratings. If it's a bad file people will say so and downrate it.

    I do, and still find a few viruses that were missed by others. Some having near 100 positive comments.

    I'm still waiting on the Adobe patch, since the re-install. Took the Apple I-tunes last night, what a pain in the ###!! It choked 3 times during DL. Then promptly failed to install.
