Only problem with the smaller units, if you like microwave popcorn. They are to small and the bags get stuck and won't rotate.

After looking at an endless list of makes and models, I found one that is going to work quite well for the hole in the wall in my 387. With Christmas just around the corner, I'll need to be doing some hint dropping .

I do like to nuke popcorn, but I'll just have to get by without or buy a bag.
Mustang190. I do not have a five burner, but I did take a three burner out of an old camper that stores nicely in a side tool box for when I have time to make a nice home made meal. I also found a small crock pot that has two crocks. Works great for making two meals while bouncin' down the road.
Thank you for all the help guys.

I have a small microwave. Funny enough, I broke the glass carousel plate. Been using a paper plate ever since, it still rotates. Side benefit, I never have to clean that glass plate if I get a boilover, just replace the paper.

I just bought the LG Neochef 0.9 model and from what I can see it might be a great fit for the truck. It's a 1000W microwave with a wall draw of only 1040W due to some special power design. I'll be using it in the truck hence forth and will try and report back on how it's working.

I have used a Walmart microwave while OTR for 18 months. It’s taking too long to cook small things. The cooking is uneven and a hassle.

This week after another driver convinced me, I bought a new gadget. It’s called a hot logic launch box /bag. I love this thing. It’s way easier than a microwave to have any cold packaged foods ready to eat hot and even. HotLogic Mini

I had to replace my cheapest possible hamilton microwave because it broke after a few months.

Broke my glass carousel plate... paper plates seem to work just fine.

    It's a hotplate in a bag.
