Just work on your rythym:biggrin_2558:. They show you how in class and you just have to do it. the first time you will be messing up but just chill:biggrin_25523:. I had Darren on the shift track and he can be a bit more intimidating, if you get Tom lot less pressure. Heads up........Did one day on shift track next day Darren calls me and another student to get our logbooks to hit the road:biggrin_25521:. Re-read my old post I think I broke it down pretty well if I remember. Its not that hard but you do have to have some co-ordination.

    Day 5

Started day working on touching up my 100ft alley back
then went to shifting track, after 30+ years of driving a
manual I had my butt handed to me on a 5th to 3rd
    downshift.

Tested on 100 ft alley back and scored a 280 out of
    300.

Started doing banana dock backs in the afternoon, all
i can say is thank god we will not have that test until
    after the new year.

Yeah, double clutching and a car stick are two different worlds. Once you get the hang of it the clutch in that old freightliner is pretty smooth:yes2557:.

I am heading down that way. Picked an awesome run from Laredo, Tx - Bay St Louis, MS - boca raton then up to MD, Pa and finally Elizabeth New Joissey.......nice 2700 miles:biggrin_255:, will probably crash at Wildwood tomorrow night and if time permits I'll swing on by Wednesday morning on my way to Boca.
