Looked into doing this on my 03 FLD. Wanted to put on a 140 ARI and needed to start with a day cab and frame stretch to make it easier. Frame stretch was about $8k (dont believe people if they say $4-5k...they're full of $@*%), and the condo conversion was about $3500 from daycabconversions.com. add to that the box on back, and, well, um, yeah.
So i ripped out the interior, foam insulated it all. Made new cabinets, fold down murphy style bed thats 54" wide for me and wifey, and a fold down table.
