I've been in contact with the law firm that handled the class-action lawsuit over medical claims for a couple of years. When Mid-States filed for bankruptcy, the first thing I did was to ask them about how this affected the medical claims. The law firm is:
    Francis R. Greene

Edelman, Combs, Latturner & Goodwin, LLC

    120 South LaSalle St.

    Suite 1800

    Chicago, IL 60603

Ms Greene wrote back: and I quote:

"It is extremely unclear about what is going to happen. I can say this much:

"In the short run, the bankruptcy puts an automatic halt to our lawsuit.

"In the long run, whether the bills get paid depends on:

"(1) what other creditors are out there that have a legal right to be paid before the medical providers and

    (2) the amount of money the company has left once all the assets are sold.

"The answers to these questions won't be known for many months."

Well what do you know! A positive! My investor just called and said she spoke with Andi and she just got the distribution papers on her hot little fax! What a huge relief off of our minds along with others. She that there are over 200 distributions that need to be done at this point. Now...the wages and benefits need to be next. What we somehow need to figure out is if it is a positive or negative to do the form from the bankruptcy court. If so, I am thinking that we will attend the next court date. I want to get with a lawyer this week and see what his opinion is. I understand that the bank wants to be 1st in line. My theory, sorry, employees need to be 1st in line. That bank is not going to go under if they dont get all of their money, but some employees do need the money worse. My thought is employees have kids. The need to keep a roof over those babies heads and they need to keep them warm and fed. Off to make that lawyer call...everyone update as to what they are hearing. The more we can communicate the better we are.

According to a bankruptcy filled several years a go, the back wages were the first in line to be paid. Missouri Law demands that all back wages/labor comes first. Without the wages/work, there would be no company assets to be auctioned off. I do not know about any other states.

As I promised I called the local FBI office to see what, if anything was being done. The agent said they forwarded their info to the King County office. Since MSXN is located in that county that FBI office should be handle it...

So, since I live in Missouri and was robbed here that does not matter!! According to someone on here, the FBI office in Chicago said since MID-STATES was in bankruptcy they could do nothing....So let me get this right. If I rob all the FBI agents and then file BANKRUPTCY I am free of that robbery?? Yeah right!! I am not buying any of this. So, I am going to my local sheriff's office and filing a report of theft, to the sheriff I call by his first name....maybe he will listen and get a warrant served.

In my opinion, this is what is wrong with our country, there is no JUSTICE any longer. We have politicians that rob us blind, using our money to pay their politically contributors and you and I know they break the law every day. There just is not anyone left to represent ''WE THE PEOPLE''.

I am not giving up...I am going to persevere and force justice in this matter. I do not take it lightly when I am robbed.

I do believe I need to go relieve myself...haaaaaaa as in ppppppppped off!!

i was the one that reported what the FBI agent told me. I spoke with an agent in Chicago. And he did tell me pretty much too bad! I told him they were crooks and he said because they filed bankrupt we could do nothing. I said even if they wrote the checks before they filed? Knowing that when they were wrote they knew they were bad? He said cant help ya. See thats what I mean about one person being told one thing, and then someone else talks to someone else and are told something else. I am off to the lawyers on Friday and see what he has to say. I also dont think any of this should be let go. They owe all of you wages! And they owe you for your medical bills to be paid. We just need to figure out how to organize. That is that hard part as most people dont have a lot of numbers for other employees. I am telling everyone that I can think of to get on here and give their input.
