I try to behave in the cities. If a slow vehicle, car or truck, is hogging the center, I will jump in the center lane either in front of them or behind them to free up the right lane. If the middle lane is blocked, open the right. Traffic can flow.

I was asked sometime ago why I retired from trucking at 55. I did not really answer the question I just said I got tired of the crap. This thread reminds me that I made the correct decision.

I think CT had a similar rule. Four wheelers must drive side by side and under the limit. Every once in a while they are required to give hope by separating just far enough to let a few NY four wheelers through but immediately close the door if a truck thinks about squeezing through...
...and do it while sipping coffee with one hand and texting with the other. -
Well, this does tend to be something of a contentious subject here in our little community.
Hence the expression, "grab the popcorn and enjoy the show".
