    You would have to have a dwarf team so they could stand on each other's shoulders to open the hood. They would have an advantage inspecting the underside of the trailer though.

    There are midget trucks. But I don't recall seeing a dwarf.. er Midget or whatever the PC term is these days. To be honest we don't even think about stuff like that. Truckers come in all sizes.

    I was in Riceboro, GA mid 2016 and a cute very short lady climbed in a rig and drove over to bump the dock. She was about 5ft tall with her little high heel Chuck sneakers on.
    I thought there were height restrictions?

    DOT has neck circumference, weight, missing limbs, eyesight, hearing and whatever else they can force on us. There must be a height restriction. How can the driver operate the pedals, steer and shift, all while strapped to the seat.

    Pedals can be extended, automatics have been around a long time, steering and shifting is a non issue unless you have let the shift linkage get sloppy.
