Look inside the trucks. The upper bunk uses more room than anything, which is not storage.
Google all you want, like I said earlier, your inexperience is really showing itself. More cubic space inside does NOT equate to more storage space. Go stand in a 6 foot square room that has a 20 foot tall ceiling. Compare the available storage space in one with an 8 foot ceiling...no difference in the real world is there? Get it yet?
By all means keep it up though,.you are providing entertainment for those of us that have actually owned both.

Perhaps I can clear it up for you guys. if my memory serves me correctly, Freighliner coined the term "condo" and basically changed the way sleepers were designed. Now I haven't been in every truck out there but I have been in FRT, Volvo, International 9900, T2000, T660, T600, T800. I would not call the KW bunks a "condo".

The only ones that resemble the condo's per se are the Volvos and the Freightliners inasmuch that the bunks go all the way up to 13'-6" or whatever it is. The INT and KW's are not full height bunks.....they have a spoiler on top that brings them up to 162".....so that is why I was not sure what he meant by "condo". Condo is a Freightliner marketing term from approx 35 years ago. Perhaps some of the old timers will chime in and tell me I am full of crap but that is what I recall.

    Lordy......
My old International cabover was as high as a FL "condo". As are the others I mentioned.
Funny though, everyone knew exactly what the OP meant, except one. Think I'll go with the numbers on this one myself.
Nice to see the rookie has a new friend though.
