    This company has basically stopped answering the phone or replying back to basically anyone.

    Don't think they're doing that great anymore.

    Chinatown Thanks this.

    Yup, I can confirm, I just got off the phone with a recruiter and they required 12 months. But their overall employment package doesn't seem bad either, good pay and get home time for anyone that has a year under the belt.

    You'll get a lot of "NO" on phone calls.
    Submit the short apps from each trucking company website before calling. Then wait a day or two and follow up with a phone call. "I'm checking on my driving job application."
    This way, they know you at least took the time to fill out an app or short app.

    A few drivers on here called and were told "Not Hiring."
    We told them to submit the app from the website to the companies that said "No", then call in a day or two. They did that and were hired.

    Tenstreet app will cover a lot of options without a lot of filling out applications

    @MemeWheeler --

    First...I would suggest you finish getting your hazmat endorsement -- before applying for any other jobs.

    The tanker endorsement without the hazmat endorsement isn't really doing you much good....in the current hiring environment.

    Past all that -- it could be that your location needs some improvement:
    • I constantly see Schneider looking for tanker drivers along the I-10 corridor in MS, AL....& up I-65 into & past Atlanta. NO EXPERIENCE REQ'D -- but they will want you to be able to get tanker AND hazmat endorsements -- & ALSO.... a "TWIC" card (just Google it).
    • I am constantly seeing Swift advertising for this job, in Eastern AL & western GA:
    CDL-A - dedicated truck driver -- Opelika, AL

    If that Swift position is what I think it is...that is a dream starter job...making runs out of Walmart's DC in Opelika, AL.

    No specific experience requirement is mentioned -- & home daily.

    Anyway....just some food for thought....
