I don't know what was in the air today but I got a call from 6 different brokers looking for trucks, and I have never worked for them in the past... I finally asked one of them if they saw my truck posted somewhere (thinking somebody was playing a joke on me) and the guy was like no we just really need to get some freight covered and I found you on Carrier 411 (?)... I only have beef with TQL so I didn't pull any of their strings but some of them wasn't that bad and most were short runs ... a couple were steel and a couple were building materials ... One guy had van freight going to MA for like $1900 ... This was in Toledo, Ohio ... anybody in this area let me know if my phone starts ringing again tomorrow I will get the number and send you a pm ...

I've been watching the freight throughout the day. There is tons going to the NE, just nothing coming out. You better get enough to deadhead back to Youngstown, OH; because it really stinks getting anything out there. Even going south, you'd have to go clear to NC before it picks up.

I got burned bad going to CT the week before the holidays, then trying to get back South fighting millions of redneck truckers doing the same. I don't see my truck going back until March when mulch season is in high gear in the NE.
