Well I just decided to spend the money on the supplies and give it a go myself... Spent over $750 on everything that includes a 20 ton bottle jack to make it easier on my body.

Not to bad for my first time ever polishing. Used the brown bar then green... I'm guessing by not using the white bar for the final pass is why I ended up with those blotches or smear type marks on the fuel tank? Thinking the white eliminates that stuff?

You can see my trailer behind the truck, that's next on the agenda...

Looks good! A good hand Polish with that liquid zephyr and fiber cloth should take care of the swirl marks. If not, you can make your own liquid using the green, and lighter fluid. Hit it with that first, by hand, and then with the zephyr. Makes Me want to do mine.

sorry missed this... I recommend them for sure. The wheels were freshly polished when I signed on with Dave. The photos above were after 9-10 months and a winter running everywhere they salt and snow. I was stoked on how them came out.

Orange buff brown bar, then yellow wheel green bar.

White wheel & blue bar for a deep show luster. For a daily work truck, I never white/blue mine. I do mine annually..

The marks in your tank look like rub marks from your wipe cloth.

    Looks good though either way

Oh and rake the buffs. The cleaner the buff the nicer the shine. Compound gets stuck in the buff over time and gets hard, then scratches the finish. So don't be afraid to put the rake on the ground and run the buff wheels over it for a few seconds. Clean clean clean.
