    Remember. if you have haz-mat but no tanker the code is H. If you have tanker but no haz-mat that code is N. If you have either one and get the other later that code becomes X. This is automatic and done by the DMV.

    This girl is explaining all this to a trucker!

    The school I went to has 1 automatic to test in, everything else is manuals. They only use that 1 as a last resort if someone absolutely cannot pass with the manual. No restriction for me there. I didn’t realize how different double clutching was from my manual Jeep or Dodge. I fumbled my way through class pretty well and finally pulled it together for my road test for the class and was even better for the state test. Definitely needs work. Backing needs the most. We did some alley docking, but it’s not required for Texas so we only had 2 days to work on it. And it was driver side alley dock. No blind side. Blows my mind since that seems to be what 90%+ of the job?
