Well I am not with TMC any longer. They let me go after I left the road during a white out. I was not surprised given their desire to cut down on drivers lately. I start a new local job tomorrow.

Those "contracts" are non-enforceable. They do not spell out the financial terms, are not properly witnessed, and are not notarized. Ask Trans-Am how they found out. LOL

If you don't mind, would you go to the "My 16 weeks with Transam" post and give more info on the contracts and what you did? Could help out alot of people who are there now. Thanks

I wish it had worked out for you firna.. And I hope whatever it is you choose to pursue

ends up being what you need. This is going to be a tough year for everyone I'm afraid..

The flatbed industry has suffered about a 20% decrease in freight levels. Van freight

down about 12-15% and reefer is only down about 5%(people gotta eat lol!). My first

turn with PTL kept me out 21 days and I did a lot of sitting. I was out 14 days this

last turn but business was definitely up! I would get a new preplan before I would

empty call just about without fail. Anyways this is not about them. Just wanted to

say hi and no matter what job you end up taking please keep in touch. God bless you

    and take care! Peanut

FirNaTine I'm not sure where in So Jersey you live, but I'm in Ocean County and the tri-axle work here has always been good. It's usually sand from this area going out and stone from the Trap Rock quarries back this way to the various concrete and paving materials plants.

It's nice work and you're home every night!

    Good luck man.
