they have been "talking" about EBOR's and E-Logs for YEARS. IF it ever happens it will be a LONG time from now. Most of what you are hearing is CB talk.

And if your local run slow and 100000% legal it dont matter, but OTR only running 10 hours a day so that you dont accidently run to far isnt going to pay the bills of a homeless person!

I can garentee IF it ever happens ALLOT of drivers will walk away from trucking and never look back.

have a lot of respect for you but the difference between 21 and 45 is I KNOW I'm not bullet proof.

2012 :biggrin_25512: There is NO WAY 100,000's of O/O are going to spend $1000's on a E-Log system......IT WONT HAPPEN and until the Gov can find a way to make that happen, it aint gonna happen.

My company would not do it either, allot of companies couldnt opperate or AFFORD to install E-Logs.

No one is saying to run 2 log books, but there is a differance from properly logging 15 minutes for loading and logging 5 hours onduty like a dumbaz$ because you think thats illegal.

TRUST me, when you get out in the real world (OTR and Out of VT) you'll see what im talking about.

I log legally, but i dont waste hours just for the fun of it :biggrin_2552: The DOT can look at my log book all they want its 100% legal :biggrin_25522:

If anything i should be more worried then you I have allot more years left to work, your halfway to retirement already
