I may be remembering wrong here but you have to inform them of all tickets even in your car when you get them, not when you settle them. Again i may be wrong.

I got a ticket a couple months ago in some Podunk town in Illinois. It was for " overlenght for a non designated roadway" I was on Illinois state hwy 24. Not one sign stating it was restricted not listed in the atlas as restricted either. The cop actually had the audacity to tell me it was a "business ticket". When I mentioned to him about there not being a sign he said that its not their job to tell us where we can't drive only where we can. Anyway the fine was 120 no points, no adverse report on my CSA. I called Dan Millis 3 times and left a voicemail each time to inform him of it and never once got a call back for them to find out the details. I told them on the voice mail that I got a ticket but never stated what it was for or anything. In my case it is a non moving violation and I just paid the fine online and never had to go to court. I figured I would easily lose 3 times that amount by taking time off to go fight it so I just paid it and moved on.

yeah my wife told me to talk to the DA because here in ohio they reduce the tickets all the time. so she thinks it would be the same over there.

Ticket Update: The ticket is $132. I called this number they gave me and if i pay $170 and plead not guilty i will be on a program to where as long as i do not get any more violations in Indiana for the next 6 months then they get rid of my ticket. no points and no csa.

Perfect example of why CSA is a money making scam. Organized crime to extort money for the state.

so rhey make it go away if you pay them off. Nothing personal, but that sounds like extortion not about safety. Thats a crock. Society never ceases to amaze me.

its basically the same thing a lawyer does but cheaper and guaranteed to work. you could pay a lawyer $500+ and still not win. so i dont see it that way. plus its better than points and a lost job potentially

We should start putting our "driven" miles vs "paid miles" .... lol it can be depressing at times :(
