Steve went to a small company more mom and pop. Completely debt free. Do your homework millis is just a stepping stone

 

devildawg...Inherently I understand that and I have already begun looking at other options for down the road...but I stand by what I have said...if Millis treats me right I will stay and won't look for another carrier. However, understanding that it IS a starter company I know that eventually my needs will outgrow the company, but I am in no hurry for that to happen

3200 with time for one more load. Guess I'm cheap! If people actually had a work ethic, kept the left door closed and ran through a little snow maybe they wouldn't wine so much . After three tours driving in Afghanistan and Iraq I haven't seen anything here to compare so people need to quit crying and start delivering their beer on time.

I don't whine on the qc, make phone calls either...I sit at a truck stop only because I have no load

 

Boomer. Read the post. I said 2 years. Worked for some other companies in 08 & 09. Millis blows them away. I get great miles, great equipment, great home time.

Anyone running a business is going to take care of the Ones who perform. If you are not getting what you want then, it might be a good idea, to criticize yourself first.

 

Things will get better. Just stay on your toes, work hard, and be patient. Also remember stability goes a long way in this business. Having a clean track record and longer time with one company will set you up for when that perfect opportunity comes along down the road. Job hopping will kill your marketability.
