I live in Charleston SC now. All drivers are dispatched out of Black River Falls. I am OTR I run, wherever they ask. I will go to long island if they ask etc pittsburgh alot. It's good training, and remember the people in that part of the country need the freight on our trucks too. We ARE forced dispatch company so if you got the hours to get there don't be a whiner. Take it.

Maybe you work with shippers that are 100% drop/hook and the freight is always ready? maybe when you have 5 hours on your 70 you don't end up running your 14 hour clock out. And if you are logging every second of the day everything you are do you are wasting time and losing money.

Maybe i'm the only one that has a 14 hour clock chasing me from the second I hit on duty for my pretrip?
