scottie ... I had to take a personal 1 on 1 log class. One of the things that came out of it, you do not have to log any time for post trip, just note when you go off duty at the end of your shift. ... As far as Mac 10 just round it.

Yes, what he said. As soon as you park, just go off duty and click the remarks and show post trip. As far as mac 10, below the 7 min mark, round down, like if total on duty for the day says 9:36 then show 9:30, and vice versa, 9:37, round up 9:45

Ended up the week with 1700, thanks to a royal pain in Denver on Friday. Starting the new week with a 1500 mile run that will drop very early Friday morning, and I think will get a nice long one out of there on Friday. Kimberly Clark, getting the finished product that comes back from Mexico. Looking for a possible 4k week ending on Wednesday. That will make up for this past week, and keep me at my 2800 week avg. Also this long one, MAC 30.

Are you guys happy with the $$$ you are making? I'm just out of school, have an offer from Swift and am trying to figure out if it is a good fit for me. I want to end up in a dedicated position asap but know I have to go OTR for awhile. It seems like theres not alot of cash to be made OTR and for being gone from home for weeks on end... what do you think??? Thanks for any feedback.

The money can be great I made $400 to $1450 OTR the lowest was hometime weeksThere's money to be made all depends on shippers and receivers and appt times and how hard you run I was running hard and always tcalling when appt times were rediculoius days appart. The key is a good DM that makes u or breaks u I have a Awsome DMI'm doing Walmart dedicated and quite happy no more headaches from shippers and receivers and I make the same as OTR which I average $1000 a week I don't even want to go back OTR but I'm only helping out so if they don't need me aim back out there I'm just trying to ride the year before I go start tanker driving locally

This is scary. After doing the math, it works out to $712.00 a week at .31 cents a mile. Working 70 hours a week and not being home, believe it or not, it works out to be $8.25 Hr. for 40 hours plus $12.38 Hr. for the remaining 30 hrs. overtime. (Time and a half). This makes me want to stay home and be a forklift driver for $13.50 an Hr. and be home every night and do some over time if available. Not for me. I would have to make at least .41 cents a mile to make it worth my while. If I want to stay in the trucking field, I would have to be an owner operator and make up to $1.80 a mile. Good luck.
