Yah, seen a few posts stressing that. Unlike a 9-5 job it's the drivers job to get his paperwork in on time. Snooze on that and what can you expect. When you get that $100 check and go wtf, you'll only have yourself to blame. Although from what I see 90% will blame the company anyways.
Plus I leaned long ago if 100 people work for a company and 20 of them don't like it, you will find 18 bad forum reviews and maybe 1 good one. Even if more people like it there than dislike it there.

Check out Schuff Steel on 19th Ave just South of I-10.
They have a sign out front looking for CDL A drivers. Go in and ask them if they can train you, worst they can say is no.

@Chinatown I got a buddy onboard with me now to do this, are there any good companies for Team Drivers in AZ? I already found a truck driving school I'm going to attend, so now it's just the company.

Question. I've been around this industry for a minute. I keep reading that the megas starting pay is low? How does this work? Last thing I knew about rookies were I thought you got your CDL, then went with a trainer for 3-4 weeks and then they started you solo at the bottom pay scale of experienced drivers? Like .38-.40 cpm? Are they actually paying less than that to start?

Mostly those are for the ones that pay for your cdl school. If you do school on your own like i am most are offering between .31 and .42 cpm. Have one offer for .32 and another for .35, but leaning towards the .32. But only because they have apu, refrigerator, direct tv, etc. since I am going otr I would prfer to be more comfortable. Can always switch to a higher paying carrier once I got that first year in, but the same company does offer raise up to .42 for the first year, then yearly after.

After i got some experience plan on trying to get into Riverside Transport, like what I see for them.

Some of these cats are signing up to run team for $.18/mile.

    "But that's team miles, Six."

So what? That's also smelling someone else feet in an enclosed space for less cpm than a solo driver. Some of you must have a thing for feet, because it's certainly not about the money.
