Guys, I need some advice / info. For my CDL learners permit, do I need to study the bus driver and tanker stuff or just General Knowledge, Air Brakes, and Combo Ops?
Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

I would get all the endorsements you could now. Then if in the future you want to do something different you have them.

I could be wrong....but....... I think that there were bus and tanker questions in the General Knowledge part....... They are small sections. Sure wouldn't hurt to be ready. And let us know if there are any of those questions after you take the test. Thanks.

Yeah there are a couple of each on the General Knowledge part.... at least on the study / practice site that Baratone put up. No big deal, I just didn't want to spend a bunch of time learning about driving a bus.

i wouldnt worry about the bus one, since u have to pass a skills test in a bus to get it. tanker and doubles/triples are really easy.

So finally back at it again!!! Dispatcher got me home Thursday night for Christmas but ended up driving truck to shop in Cartersville Friday morning since I was way overdue for my B-svc and needed to get a steer tire replaced and front end alignment done.....called my dispatcher this morning and he said he had freight so I headed back up to C-ville....when I got to c-ville I was told to give my dispatcher a call and then he forwarded me to Tammy who told me my name was randomly selected for a random drug test...so took care of that then received a load to pickup in East Point, GA to deliver to Container Warehouse in Ridgeway, VA.
