Exellent point. You hear about it on the news, that theives followed people on facebook and knew exactly when they weren't home to rob them. Don't see why it couldn't happen with truck freight.

 

My father pulls reefers out of FL and they just had a whole truck stolen out of the yard filled with steaks. They think that was an inside job.

 

For a new person what would be the hardest thing to get used too driving a truck for a living ?

 

For me it was being away from home all the time and having an irregular work schedule ( having to drive till 3, 4, 5am some nights and other nights being done by 5pm and having to sit for 12+ hours).

Oh, backing the f'n thing into a tight parking spot in a dark truck stop late at night when I was so tired i could collapse, that was always fun...

 

Well, I was blessed with an awesome message left on my desk phone this morning when I got to work....
