Ah dont get nervous you guys will do fine!

 

Not really nervous, Pretty excited to see If I still have any skill leftover from 18 yrs. ago.

 

I feel confident about the driving part. I think I am more nervous about walking away from my job after almost seven years. But nothing ventured nothing gained, right?!

 

What kind of work are you walking away from?

 

I took a 16 year hiatus. It will be a good refresher course for you and it will all come back to you in no time. Best of luck!

 

Thanks bear, A few months ago I was able to jump in a truck and do a little backing, I done pretty well. It'll be more getting used to the size of the truck running around in traffic.

 

A gooberment job, I mean government job. Electrician (and other duties as assigned...<=== See definition for abuse of powers) for the county. Too much bureaucracy for me

I don't care for the direction our department is headed in. Management has told us if we don't like it we can leave. So I am.

 

You guys will all do fine! Once you are taught the basics, the rest is learned with time and experience.

Oh and MrG's magic finger always helps when learning to shift!!

 

It will probably be a very humbling experience to say the least.
