    bump.........
another week down.....failed the backing portion of the CDL test (alley dock) yesterday so it's still going to be a few more weeks before I get my own ride. The examiner said that I wouldn't have to do the alley dock again since I had failed it once which leave either one of the parallel parking backs to do.
No big deal.....actually, although I was looking forward to getting my own ride, I'm kinda glad I have a couple more weeks to get the hang of things. It's not that much fun sharing a truck with another grown man, but we're starting to become comfortable with each other.

Lots to learn, boys.......lots to learn.

I can feel your pain on the alley docking dipp. The DDS does not give you much space between cones to get that trailer in.

Stay at it and it will come together. Good luck on your next go around.

Thanks, Duck..... and yeah, it's a mighty small hole, but other fellas have done it. Honestly, I just didn't practice enough......word to the wise; even when you get on the road, practice, practice, practice.....

Honestly, I think most testers in GA don't want you to pass first try. Very few do. Combine that with anxiety from not knowing what to expect on the test and it's only natural to mess up first time out. You'll kill it next time. Don't sweat it!!
