i dont think you would train regional because their trucks are coffin sleepers. i think you would go out with a regular trainer and when you are done and assigned your own truck then you would be put on a regional route.

    needachange Thanks this.

There used to be some regional trainers, not sure if there are any left. The trainers use full size trucks. The guys I knew who used to train ar all in smaller trucks now or gone back OTR.

Sitting outside of the gate at Container Warehouse in Ridgeway VA for an 8:30 delivery in the morning and one of Millis's reagonal drivers out of the Eden Terminal just walked up and gave me a Chicken sandwich from Hardees. He said they gave him one to many in his order. I didnt get his name but just wanted to thank him for his random act of kindness. I guess I was more hungrey then I thought I was. While I'm at it I'd like to thank LB, Mellons, Big Country and all the other guys out there willing to anser questions for people they dont know. I've been on reagonal for a couple of weeks now and love it. Its a faster pace but the time flyes by. Havent regretted for a minute my desicion to get into trucking and espically working for Millis. You all drive safe and hopefully your enjoying yourself as much as I am.
