Yes I have had the pleasure, but it was enjoyable although took about 1.5 hours. There was a little boy that was sitting on the porch with his Mom, she was keeping tally of how many trucks would blow the horn for him.

I went thru there Friday afternoon...had my student behind the wheel...it was very good practice for my student....that was 1st time he drove other than interstates.....he gained a lot from it.... I'll definitely be taking him back thru there before he graduates and gets his own truck....by then he should be able to run 25W with no issues at all!!!

Whitey, are Millis students able to request trainers if they are available? I will be starting class June 11th in Trenton and would love to have you as my trainer.
-
They will try to match you up for a good fit. Sometimes trainers get to stop by the class and meet you but not always. Not sure about requesting specific trainers.indianaEMT Thanks this.
-
You can request them but that doesn't always mean you will get them..
indianaEMT Thanks this. -
Did it take a lomg time to get Alice to return calls or emails? I have left several past couple of weeks and can't get a reply. She told me my app was approved. I don't plan on going til August. Could that be why she isn't responding? I'm not paranoid, am I??
-
If she told you your app was approved then there is nothing more to do until closer to time to go. Go ahead and get your permit with any endorsements on it you want and get your DOT physical out of the way.

Have my med card just need to study for my combo permit. Have hazmat and air brake already as I have a class B You have about two weeks til show time don't you indianaEMT? Thanks
-
You can put it out there that you would like me as a trainer and Bill will let Ellan know and she will make a note of it...but it doesn't guarantee anything...if I'm available then it shouldn't be a problem...they try and match students and trainers by location first then wether were both smokers or not and so on....BTW I'm a non-smoker and only take non-smoker students...not sure if your a smoker or not.... But as far as hometime goes I stay out anywhere from 3 to 6 weeks before going home...its just one of those things we would have to play by ear!!

I'm a non smoker, I will mention it to Bill, thanks
