Some of us solo drivers would greatly appreciate the truck spec'd out like this as well (the cab) so we can take spouse, kids, riders along to share our jobs with them as well.

Hey Dave. Yeah I have been checking Millis out for a while now. I appreciate all you guys posts and information you put on here. By the way you guys talk to each other on here I kind of figured ya'll have developed a special comradery.

E-logs. No problem for me. That will make it easier for me to stay organized instead of the paper logs.

Not sure if any of you Millis drivers on here run the I-85 section between Commerce and Buford GA but I see Millis trucks all the time. I always wonder if it is one of you guys on here. By the way, I live off of exit 137 in case any of you ever stop at the QT truck stop (or the exit 129 Pilot ts) for your break. I would like to meet you guys if you ever have a moment.

I know that no company is perfect but Millis can't be any worse than where I am at now. They took 4 paid holidays from us this year and then at the beginning of 2012 there is going to be a 10% pay cut in addition to the defunct holidays. So you will probably see me applying with Millis shortly after that. :biggrin_25525:

First of all I would like to thank all of yall for everything you do. I am considering getting my CDL through Millis and I had a question on hometime do you have to take it at your addressed house everytime or could you take it somewhere else as long as it is secured? Thank you for your time and be safe out there drivers

Hi fish, you can take your hometime anywhere you desire as long as you have a secured place to park the tractor/trailer. You schedule your hometime with your dispatcher atleast 7 days prior to taking off, let them know where you want to take it and they will try to work they're magic getting you a load as close as possible.

I think Bear answered it well - but I'll add this. I dont take the truck/trailer to my house as my subdivision doesnt allow it. I park just about a block away at a old service station. I gained permission from the property owner when I started driving. It's close enough that I walk down each morning and check on it while on home time.

Thanks Baritone for your addition to Bears answer. Does Millis ever haul down to Tampa, FL? That would be the only other place I would take hometime to see the family.
