Ran down to Albany and picked up my student. Got a load out headed to Milwaukee for Monday delivery. Will drop Sun if I can talk Security to allow me in. Then will head to Rich-yard for some "more" work on the truck.

Sitting at a Thai Food place in Fl. that charges $6 to park at. Ran out of time and couldn't make it to Tallahassee like I wanted to. Lost two hrs today due to traffic on I10/I12 in LA. For those that haven't been in LA yet especially into Shreveport I suggest something to hide the smell, the whole place smells like #####. Also try to stay out of the truck stops in LA all of them have casinos in them. Don't be that trucker who has to sell his cb or other stuff from teh truck cause you blew your money. Saw three diff. one selling cb,gps, and whatever else they could to make money.

hey guys, hope this is in the right place. Just wondering i was on millis website and it said they start class every Monday with about 6 + people in the class room? that aint really my question but dose millis really have that many trucks to fill seats or is it still like every company they get people and they realize trucking aint for them so they quit. just wondering bc I got a call from Alice saying my app was accepted frieday but i was ripping apart my deck and re staining it. my main point is if training is i think i read like 150 hours? if something happend and i don't get hired i would have to go to another school to get the bc of hours behinde the wheel... hope that made since :biggrin_2554:. and thanks to every one that has posted about millis. sounded like a dream job that you have to know some one to get in. filled out the app and now i got accepted :biggrin_2551:.

If you can drive, you will get a truck. No scam here. Alot of people quit, during class, with trainer or after they get their truck. It is probably tough for some being away from "home" all the time. I have only been here 8 months but I am still smiling! I really love this stuff. I don't sleep so well in my bed at home anymore, I guess because the truck really becomes home and home becomes a place you visit.
