Got to Eden yesterday and got a message to pick up a new driver and drive him to orientation in Cartersville on my way trough GA. Didn't have enough time to make it non stop so Millis sprung for a room for us since I only have one bunk. He's a new addition to the Eden regional drivers.

 

Wait till the rear end goes out of alignment that seems to be a really common issue. Last time I was up in Oak Creek there where 3 T700 up there for that.

 

Sitting by St. Louis dropped at Unilever. Came off hometime, popped in on the new class at Trenton. Picked up at St. Benard's saw a Epes trailer get smoked by a train on the hard right turn going onto Vine. He thought he could beat it I guess. If you have been down to St. Benard's you know the turn and the tracks he go hit on. As of 6pm and thats when I lost 700wlw on my radio Spring Grove and Vine where still closed. Don't Race a train!

Yea already been to KW for that issue...took mine to Madison KW and lost an entire day of work.for it!!

 

My POS 2008 Freightliner doesn't have any of these issues... And people wonder why I'm not in a hurry to get a new truck!

 

Even though I do hate the lack of power of these MBE engines.

 

Sitting at the Petro in Racine waiting for a load, delivered early for the second day in a row. Got an MT last night at Unilever that had a burnt out clearance light and a hole in the side wall of one of the trl tires. Went over to the T/A in Troy Il to get it fixed. Waited till this morning to send the macro 60, as I waited in the parking lot for the svc to be set up, a car hauler unloaded a car off his truck and drove off in it. As I sat in the garage for the svc, the guy comes ripping threw the parking lot and puts the car back on his trailer. Wonder if the person who paid to have the car shipped expected the driver to use it as a personal vehicle while in transit.

I'm back in Cartersville again! That's four times I've been here this week. It's a record for me !
