actually I went further than that, I put in an application yesterday but they will not tell you if they turn you down for age because that would be discrimination. I used to work in pilot recruitment also. Anyway I guessed what I should have asked was has anyone seen people starting in trucking around the 60 year point at Millis or anywhere else for that matter?

Towed from the mile marker 48 on the Indiana Toll Road to Cummins in Chicago. Someone isn't going to like seeing that bill. Cummins says that Nashville KW didn't clean out the air to air or interair cooler like they where suppose to, and that has cause the turbo to fail again. Also the doser valve needs replaced, which is the 3rd in as many months for some odd reason, also going to clean out the dpf filter. Should be rolling first thing tomorrow as long as nothing else goes wrong.
I should be mad as I have lost 2 days of driving so far, and instead of getting home a day early will get home the day i put in for. But at the end of the day I look at it like this, I ain't paying for it. -
Hopefully it will be fixed right now db...

Like I have said, just keep smiling and remember I ain't paying for it. The total bill is up over 10k at this point between the two shops. -
As to Millis and the 'age discrimination' thing, I'd be careful. There are plenty of 20 and 30 somethings that haven't gotten a job because of where they lived, work history, or backround. You never know.......you might be exactly where they need someone, and you'll get the hook up. On the other hand, you might be a guy with 20 years experience and a perfect record and be in a place where they don't need folks and get turned down. Millis needs drivers, (as do many, many, many other companies). If you can get the job done and you're where they need someone, you'll get the call. The converse is obvious.......abdunbar Thanks this. -
Thanks for the reply, of course, have no idea where they need people, as it happens, I live about 150 yards behind the Millis Richfield, Wisconsin location.

Richfield ain't a bad place to be.......'specially if you want to run regional.
Good luck, brother......it'll all work out like it's supposed to........ -
just wondering if the trucks come with cb's or should i get my own?
