Hey Baritone, I applied last week and was wondering what kind of miles you guys are averaging out there.

well made it to my delivery in jersey before they closed and got unloaded in no lie 10 minutes. they had like 5 forklifts going. so next load comes over the quall. pick up in philly and deliver in trenton. so i am thinking sweet i can get home and i need a reset. wrong. i only have 9 hours on my 70. so not including the time it takes to get loaded looks like i will be doing a reset somewhere east of columbus...so close.lol

It varies from how far you live from the terminal, if you have secure parking avail. and if you can park a truck and trailer at your house.

Ah the joys of the east coast. with 9 hours you might make it out of philly. In all seriousness it sucks getting stuck an hour or so from trenton for a reset or getting to start hometime early. Been there several times.

Samuai, how many hours will you pick up on the next day? Is a reset necessary?

Saw a dead bear on the side of the road on 300 coming out of Albany this morning.

WTF? We have to watch out for bears now??

Samurai, just checking. Are you maybe logging too much time on duty at the shipper / receiver? When I run, I only log 30 minutes. 15 for the load and 15 for the PTI. The other time I log off duty. Waiting can be logged off duty.

If you used up the 70 mostly driving, that good. Your making the miles. Just seems like too short of a time to run out of hours.
