Thought I would share this, since there has been some "unhappiness". I arrived at one of our customers about 2 weeks ago and they were happy I was there? You know when we show up it means more work for them lol. So after talking to the manager he told me that the company had switched there primary carrier. He and managers from two other locations wrote a letter to there president asking for Millis back! He said it seemed to help as Millis is back on his schedule alot more. Why did they want Millis back? No BS he told me they liked Millis drivers better. Take it as you will.

I've noticed similar stuff at customers too. Some places I go I see other carriers with dumped beer loads and just shake my head. I get bumped up and unloaded earlier at some places because they know our loads are going be standing straight and won't need additional work.

It might not have been him. I've noticed miller can get kinda lax on their counting if the load was loaded on the trailer on Fridays. Twice in a row I delivered in AL and two pallets were short an entire row. Just make sure they sign seal intact if this ever happens to you. Most places know the deal and don't have an issue with signing seal intact. OS&D is going to ask if it was signed seal intact when you notify them of the shortage. It keeps from having a claim against you or Millis if it's signed this way.

I can personally attest to this. I work for a Philadelphia distributor. We tell Miller/Coors to only send Millis or Fleetmaster. Millis drivers are the most professional and respectful drivers in the industry. You guys do a great job and we appreciate it.
