I was going to ask that too! Friendly people there. They even help you back in since it's kinda tight there.

Friday was an interesting day. Was deadheaded 195 miles to ATL over Thursday night. I stopped short of ATL due to bad weather and bad traffic. Got to Owens Brockway early Friday morning for a 31 mile run to IFCO in McDonough, GA. Got there 2 hours early even after stopping for breakfast and was told I could only be an hour early. (Even though she signed me in with a later time so I was still good to go) Now I had been here before so I knew they took there time but I was not expecting this... So I got there at 0800 for a 1000 appt. Got a door not long after 1000 and sat, and sat and sat. Finally got unloaded after 1430, after the 1200 appt for my door asked me what was going on and I called the office asking if there was a problem. These times I normally associate with a DC, like in Marianna, FL. So I didn't have enough time to run to Albany to get my normal beer load to bring home for monday but since I live less than 30 miles from McDonough I went home and ran down to Albany and back on Saturday morning. Not my preferred week but still considering that my run to Albany won't count until next week and sitting all day Friday, I still managed just shy of 2400 miles for the week. Not too shabby for a M-F job!!

Disclaimer: for the doubters, just try and prove anything in this is a lie :)

I don't doubt it at all. As a matter of fact I am friends with several regional guys and they tell me the same thing. You regional drivers really work hard for your miles. My hats off to you guys, LB, Boomer1, Ryeman, Finally Truckin!
Living on the road is gravy in comparision.:biggrin_25514:

It may be gravy, and it may be more miles but I value my weekends at home considering I still have three (of five) kids at home.

Although I do envy the nice big trucks you OTR guys get to drive! :)

I seen some of the new Regional Cascadia's sitting in BRF on Thursday when we were there. I think there were 6 of them sitting there. Not sure where they are going though, but they were puuuurrrttty!

Hey, wtf, I never have time to stop for breakfast. Mojo, tried to get ya a couple times. I've been on vacation and left my truck for a b-service, went and picked it up tonight and they washed it! Wow, Im ashamed of myself I didn't realize how dirty it was! Looks like a new truck. For the record I do keep the inside immaculate.
