Never had an issue with any of the Menard's DCs. Shelby once in a while will get there after shp/rcv leaves and security won't hand out loads but thats it.

Back at it off of vaca. Didn't want to come back out after 9 days off. So far went Trenton-Eden-Lexington NC-Albany-Cedar Springs GA-Cville-ATL-Eden-Trenton and a preplan back down to Albany.

At least all your work does'nt get backed up like working at some office jobs. That was my situation a few years ago. After vacation, would have to dig out of a hole and thought might as well not even take one. -

Meet a swift driver today at the Pilot in Nitro WV asking for directions to New York. He didn't own an atlas and said the computer didn't have good directions. After some talking turns out he was going to NYC on his second load. Told him he needed to buy an atlas and offered to give him a map on NYC, he said he didn't need to buy an atlas or map just needed directions. I walked away thinking good thing I wasn't going to NYC.

Could someone please explain to me the exact and correct procedure for putting in for detention pay while at a shipper. I've currently been sitting here for 12 hours and just got into a door. They haven't even started loading me yet. I was at a different shipper a few weeks ago where I sat for 6 1/2 hours past my appointment time, sent dispatch a message after being there for 2 hours about detention pay and nothing ever came of it. So I'm thinking I didn't follow the correct procedure so if someone could educate me on this process I would appreciate it.
